All About the Ceremony
The total cost of this wedding so far is:

and growing! *
Built in 1904, and set among ancient trees, Vassar Chapel is truly one of
the most picturesque places on the Vassar campus. The wedding will begin at 3 pm with
Judge Roland Butts performing the ceremony and Ms. Merellyn Gallagher providing the
necessary organ music. The wedding will not last long, so if you are attending the ceremony, do
not blink or you might miss it!

After the ceremony, and some wedding photography of the newly weds, the couple will proceed to
the Vassar College Alumnae House by horse and buggy provided by Michael Jubie of Sundance Carriage.
Hidden on a hill overlooking Raymond Avenue is Alumnae House, the site of our reception.
The reception will offer a selection of h'ors d'ouerves, until the main meal begins.
After the dinner, dancing music will be provided by Krista, a Q92 morning DJ.
After the party and dancing have died down, Suzanne will toss her bouquet and then head up the
stairs with Alan to their "honeymoon suite" at Alumnae House. The two will be up nice and early
the next morning to catch their 11 am flight to Orlando for their honeymoon.

The wedding party consists of a few close friends. There is the Maid of Honor,
Miss Michelle Behrman, the sole bridesmaid, Miss Amy Weisgerber, the Best Man, Michael Spann,
and of course the bride and groom, who you have already read about!
To tell you a little bit about these close friends, we'll begin with the Maid of Honor, Miss
Michelle Behrman.
Michelle has known Suzanne ever since they survived Home Ec by blowing a silly piece
of purple paper back and forth across a table at Arlington Middle School. Ever since then, they have been pals.
Both greatly enjoyed bowling and roller skating as part of their extracurricular activites at
AMS, even if they weren't the most popular clubs around.
After graduating from AHS in 1992, they sent each other off to college
and visited one another no matter how long the car ride.
The bridesmaid, Amy Weisgerber, on the other hand, has known Suzanne only since her years at the University of Hartford.
The two met in Suzanne's first or second year there, and even before they got to Suzanne's
final year, they had declared that they would be life long Pchem partners.
For all of those non-scientist people, Pchem = physical chemistry, one grueling course taught by Dr. Harry Workman.
Amy would work
out Pchem problems with all the variables, whereas Suzanne would take the big long, scarry looking
equations and start throwing in numbers ASAP! They were great study partners.
Michelle and Amy are two women have been there to help Suzanne survive the seemingly simple wedding preparations,
and they happily took charge of the bridal shower. She cannot say thank you enough to these two
friends for all they have done.
Michael Spann is another 1992 AHS graduate. Alan and Mike have known each other since
high school. These two greatly enjoyed one early morning chemistry course in high school.
